- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a saucepan, bring water and butter to a boil.
- Remove from heat and stir in flour and salt until a dough forms.
- Mix in eggs one at a time until smooth and glossy.
- Pipe or spoon small rounds of dough onto the baking sheet.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown. Let cool.
- Whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
- Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
- Slice fresh strawberries and set aside.
- Cut or poke a hole in the cooled puffs and fill with whipped cream.
- Add sliced strawberries and dust with powdered sugar.
Notes
Ensure butter is fully melted before adding flour. Avoid opening the oven while baking for best puff results.
